Description
Okay, these characters are my babies. So most of the stuff I wrote about them, never actually happens, like this little scene for instance, in which Delspair marches up to the bad guy and yells at him. Silphi doesn’t exist. Well, she could I guess, eventually. Whatever.
This took all day, but I didn’t really keep track of how long I spent working on it VS. doing random crap on the internet.

“The stench of blood is heavy in the night’s fragile air, the light of the creatures blazes brightly in the sky overhead. Whatever happened here, happened recently, and will most likely change the course of your mortal’s story.” Silphi said in a tone that hinted at the worst. “She will find him, or she will die trying.”
The small fairy like creature stood up, shaking out her wings, and stroking her bushy tail. Small flecks of shiny dust shed off of her like glitter running down the leaves of the branch she sat upon. Delspair licked his teeth, deciding how to process the fairy’s prophecy.
He turned from her, nodding his head in thanks of her insight. She smiled and waved, quickly speaking out as he retreated.
“You fight for her and she’ll lose. You must let her win her own battles.”
Delspair knew what the fairy said, but still found himself drawn to where Don resided, perfectly hidden from the mortal students of the school. He peered through the Imogene sat next to him, stroking his scales. Perhaps if he didn’t fight, only gave warning.
He thought to himself of the repercussions of ignoring a fey child, and knew they were disastrous. Besides the wisdom he was born with, and spent his whole life developing, he jumped into the air over the bushes. He landed in a snarling fit of rage, spines rising quickly from the tuft on his back.
“Donothan!” He yelled, barring his teeth.
