not to sound too defensive, but i know it's the dullest pose EVER and for the next thing i submit i will force some action out of my doodling, for serious. i'm getting so sick of drawing head-on, motionless poses :[ go me!*makes plans for a pelago pratfall*
SO ANYWAY this is pelago again. since i haven't drawn him at all in a billion years, i made the illogical decision of digipainting him D: this thing... took two weeks. on and off. it's been adjusted to hell and back and i'm mildly okay with it now. he's had so many facelifts HAHA his eyes have been pretty much everywhere on his face.
as for the title... much to pelago's ire, he will meet someone who insists upon calling him Motherless instead of Pelago. if you ever want to talk about the most painful nicknames...
as far as the pelagoportraits go, we're getting closer to what he's supposed to look like. THIS IS SO DIFFICULT YOU GUYS SAVE MEEEE D8

He looks so completely beautiful here. The eyes...omg...the EYES. This is an amazing portrait. The shading is just like...whoa.
