Hey friends. After almost 200 drawings of mini lions and a lot less people asking if i ever planed to make them a closed species i decided i can give it a shot and try to run a mini-lion community. I have a folder full of unfinished psds for prompts, guides etc. I am a total noobie to this (i had closed species before but i never took it too seriously) so bear with me. I'll use these plebies mostly as a way to learn and possibly have fun in the future.

Mini lions weren't designed with the intention of ever be a "unique" species hence the lack of traits and other CS...thingies. BUT i figured since people enjoy them, why not try and make mini lion "world" so we can have some potential fun with them in the future?!

You may notice they are a SEMI-OPEN species. That means that for starts everyone can create their own mini-lion and come join the fun (hopefully) but more that below. I'll hopefully cover most questions here but in case i missed anything feel free to comment or note me if you have questions!

~MYO F.A.Q~

What does "Semi-Open" mean?
If you'd like to join the mini-lion world but don't want to buy or get a custom one from me, you can create one yourself. For now the limit is only one mini lion per person.
You would have to note me the mini lion or comment here once you have it and after i approve it you'll be an official member of our little world

You said these aren't a species so i made a few for already...What do i do with them?
As long as it was for personal use it's fine. You can keep your little chubby lions. The only "catch" here is that ONLY mini-lions created by my hand AND approved MYOS will be able to join the future events, prompts, giveaways etc in the group.

Can i sell/trade/gift my approved MYO?
After approving your MYO you can only gift it or trade them. You CANNNOT sell Myo designs! This is only allowed if you bought them from me from an adoptable batch or custom order.

Is there a group? Do i have to join?
Yes otherwise why make a MYO mini lion? The group will serve as a virtual mini lion "world" for all related activities, events etc.
It is still plain as a rock but i'll try to make it preety soon!

I finished my MYO. Where do i submit?
Please submit to THIS FOLDER
Once your mini-lion is approved you can use them for all future group activities

Is it canonically a floating island?
Yes it is! Altho the design and map may change in the future for now the image above serves mostly as "quick reference"

What are mini-lions doing there?
Atm not much. Mostly chilling i'd say! But for the future they are gonna take part in events, prompts and various other activities.
They may even get the chance to operate their own mini-shops exclusive only to other mini lions! (more to that soon)

There are 200 mini lions already! How are you gonna keep track of everything? And what if someone doesn't want their mini lion to be part of this world?
That is completely fine. I understand people may have created their own canon story for their mini. This world is just something i wanted to create as a "side activity" for them.
As for the number of minis. I have a good guess that not all of them will be interested in the mini-lion world. Those who are will be asked to fill out a registration form soon with their mini/s of choice. Something like "id" or "residence" proof. That way i will keep the official "residents" separately than my other mini-lions.

Are they just called mini-lions? It's not very...creative
Maybe they have a secret name only THEY know! haha But most people call them mini-lions. And it was the first thing i called them when i made the first batch :_D So that kinda stuck ^^

AND FINALLY: ARE THEY A CLOSED SPECIES CAN I DRAW ONE OR NOT??
I don't own the concept of chubby fatsy lion-like characters. You wanna create characters like them outside the group/community? I won't hunt anyone. Go ahead and have fun drawing fatsy lions. No strings or rules attached.
So while the species itself is not exactly a "closed" species their group/community activities are only available to mini-lions designed by my hand or approved MYOS.
The best way to explain would be to think of it as a "horse ARPG" group. Only instead of horses it's particularly these chubby creatures xD Horses are not a closed species but depending on their group certain rules may apply ^^ Hope that covers it!
