yea but then some people always makes it sound like yuri is so different from yaoi but they are like the same thing except for the gender. i don't get how people can "fear" and "mad" yaoi things but not yuri

Actually they are quite different. Yaoi is meant to lean toward the interests of the female gender, thus the men are a lot more feminine, there's a lot more of a dramatic plot. Yuri tends to lean towards the male crowd where there isn't much plot and it has more to do with the art. But there are a lot of in-betweens. There are plenty of yuri manga that have really good plots and so on. But, as a whole, those are the generalizations.

I don't really like Yuri, but I can see why some people would enjoy it. And yeah, you can find Yaoi pairings for almost any couple, but Yuri is a bit harder I would assume.
