I like yuri, but I'm homophobic and don't like gay or lesbians. I'm religious, and I just never liked themο»Ώ at all. When I watch yuri, I feel the deep love and connection between the two girls. But I hate them for being lesbians.
I want an anime that revolves around very close females friends. I want the closest thing to yuri, without actually being it. I want the girls to love each other, but be straight. The only thing that comes to mind is K-On!

Your right. Jesus taught us to accept homosexuals. I just don't like anime that has openly gay characters in it. I use words like "homophobe" because thats what the liberal left wingers call me for my beliefs, and if your a christian, no matter how moderate you are, there will be left wingers that will call you a homophobe too. So I don't care about the term. I don't "hate" homosexuals. Fortunatly I finally found animes like 'black rock shooter' that are not yuri, but are close. Those animes are not promoting homosexuality, but still give me the same feeling I get from watching yuri. If you haven't seen black rock shooter, I'd reccoment it. It's only 8 episodes. I love it
