Allow me to correct you. Schizophrenia is a disorder characterized by cognitive and emotional dysfunctions, delusions and hallucinations, disorganized speech and behavior, and inappropriate emotions. The belief that schizophrenia is characterized by 'split personality' is a myth. Feel free to check the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders (5th edition). The artist captured the hallucinations and flat affect (schizophrenics often don't show any emotion) perfectly and I will be putting this picture up for discussion in my Psycopathology class.
