Ah, it's probably this part:

"After Dan heard about Romney’s disease (Ostriars), he immediately thought that he had heard that disease somewhere earlier.
He wasn’t sure was there yet a cure for it or not, so he went to arch mage’s house to find out. Turned out indeed there was a cure for Ostriars, AND
that Romney actually had visited arch mage as well when he came to Other World. Dan was confused. If Romney knew the cure for his illness,
why did the kid keep saying there was no cure for it? The arch mage gave Dan a book where it was explained how they treat Ostriars.
The cure for this illness was a horrifying method, that made even Dan look at it like “wth”.
The arch mage smiled and said that Romney has chosen to still believe there’s no cure for Ostriars, since the cure for it is such a nightmare. 

Frustrated about this, Dan rushed to Romney’s place, and they had a long frustrating conversation about the subject, until Romney had one of his bad pain attacks.
Dan eased his pains before leaving Romney’s house. Dan was angry at Romney, but at the same time he understood him.
No wonder the boy pretended like there was no cure for his illness, if the cure was such lunacy."

So he was only angry at Romnie for saying there was no cure for Ostriars, when in reality there is, so Dan just tried to figure out why he was lying about it.

Uhhh no I haven't mentioned anything like that. o,o Dan doesn't have Ostriars.
