The movie had a very obvious anti-American message that tried to make American soldiers look bad. James Cameron has NO right to criticize our armed forces because he isn't even American. Also, the US military are HEROS, how... DARE... he... criticize them! >

Criticizm:
Your country isn't the one being criticized. If they aren't US soldiers, then why are they calling each other "jarhead", "grunt", and even "marine"? Again, how dare he do such a thing. How would he like it if I went to Canada and openly trash talked his armed forces? I have two uncles in the military, a grandfather who is a retired USMC drill sarge, and I want to serve myself. The military are heros. Nothing more.
Aussies are very good allies of ours and I am proud to call them so (along with all other countries in the British Commonwealth). So no matter what happens, I am proud to at least call you and ally.

I can understand that you don't see the message in the story, but understand that it is not your homeland and your armed forces being criticized.
Please try to look at it from my view: I am a die-hard American patriot who loves my nation and her allies. I am a wanna-be Air Force soldier who plans to join the Acadamy or ROTC in collage. I don't like it, but put up with, foreigners comming on to our soil and criticizing the government and its citizens. But I CAN'T stand seeing a foreigner from any country comming on to our soil and criticizing our military.
