Description
Been watching too much Peter Davison-era Doctor Who lately. Saw Castrovalva, which is the first serial after the doc regenerates into the 5th incarnation, which at one point involves him eating some celery, and it amused me.This was created for Live Journal, though I suppose it can be used many other places.

Haha~ This is very funny, seriously... I love Doctor Who Icon/GIF things.
Also, No one in America knows who Tom Baker is? Um.... it is called the internet.
In fact, I have four non-british friends who watch Doctor Who.

'Fan' love him. (I type luv for 'fan-love' and love for 'heart-love' like for family, etc.) Besides, I'd have to actually know the guy to 'romantic' love him.

Well, Netflix has quite a lot, and a few of them are even available for "instant viewing" on your computer. But they don't have all of the old episodes. If you're looking for less kosher methods, bittorent is surprising good for downloading Tom Baker and Peter Davison era stuff.

I gennerally don't suport bittorent. Except in cases where the media at hand is compleatly unavailble otherwise
Thank you for the sugestion.

Unfortunately, I think that with Doctor Who it can be extremely difficult to get the older stuff without shelling out a whole lot of money. Netflix is wonderful for many of the episodes but their collection is incomplete.

Well I might have ot invest in a subscrition in netflix then.
Even if it just saves me money as far as renting rather than buying and/or illeageling obtaining eppisodes.

Personally I think Netflix is highly worth it. In addition to dvds in the mail you can watch stuff on their "watch instantly" section on your computer. Like it has all the Christopher Eccelson episodes on watch instantly, so I can watch them over, and over, and over, legally, which btw, I definitely have. Most of their "watch instantly" episodes of older Doctor Who are Tom Baker, so it's really great for Tom Baker fans. But I think they only have like three Peter Davison eps on watch instantly. But there are way more to get through the mail.

i've been wanting netflix for a while anyway, but i could never justify it becuase my brother works at a video store and gets movies for free.

You may be the first person I've ever heard express that sentiment. I'll love celery when it's slathered in blue cheese dressing, but that's about it.

xD i'm mad that way.
Wearing a Five costume for conventions, I use real celery.
I eat each stick at the end of the day

It doesn't wilt?
You should post some pictures of the whole outfit.
I've never intentionally dressed up as a Doctor Who character, but one day I went out shopping in a trench coat, hat, and crazy long scarf, and with my hair being all curly and weird I looked in the mirror and went, "Oh, lord I look like Tom Baker". Totally unintentional. Though to be fair I did buy that scarf because it looked like his. No one said anything, but then again no one in the US knows who Tom Baker is.

Ah, sorry. I thought maybe because you were already dressing up at conventions that you maybe had a complete outfit. Out of curiosity, what are you missing? The hat?

I'm not already dressing up at conventions.
And the shoes, the red band on my hat (sorting it), the coat (coming soon), and the cricket bat

How're you getting the coat? That seems like it would be the most difficult part.
