Goal/Dark Secret: [ “... sorry. You need to die.” ]
Being in a gang comes with a price. Once in a gang, there’s never getting out. Collin, on the other hand, managed to get out of his. Yeah, a few throats were slit, but he got out. He’s pretty sure that some of the higher ups remember him, and are still hunting him down. He wants to remove any evidence of ever being in a gang; to completely forget about them and live a new life as an entirely new person. Just to achieve his goal, Collin would gladly cut down anyone in his way.

History:
Collin is an illegitimate child born of a Filipino nurse and a rich British chief executive. He spent his childhood in the Philippines with his mother, but after a tragic accident that took her life when he was around 13, he was sent to live with the British executive due to his forebearer not having any living relatives suitable enough to look after him. Life with his “father”... wasn’t that pleasant. He and his wife would expect too much of their “new son” and lay down some-- scratch that, they would lay down many rules for the boy to follow. They’d even expect his grades to be that of high standards. After living most of his life as a child bound by no rules, this was a big change for him.

He managed to get by following these rules, but due to his impulsive attitude, he would frequently be scolded. Usually he’d let it go in one ear and out the other. That is, until one day his father “had the nerve to hit him”. Collin would never admit it, but he was actually a very sensitive guy back then. He had NEVER been hit by anyone, not even by the worst of bullies. So, to escape this cage that the teen felt trapped in, he ran away from home. What can I say, kids make stupid choices at times.

With no inclination of returning home, Collin continued to wander around the streets. Since his father was rich, he seemed like a rich kid as well. This attracted the attention of a few gang members that were out for money, and even some bloodshed. They trapped Collin into a dark, secluded alley way with the intention to kill. What those men didn’t realize was that Collin was made to learn martial arts when he moved to Britain. In fact, he dealt with muggings back in the Philippines as well, so this really wasn’t that big of a deal. Beating those members up was easy as pie.

Things didn’t end there. The people that Collin had once beat up came back, but with even more members. Nonetheless, no matter how many came at him, he’d strike back. His ease in defeating each member certainly caught the eye of their boss. The man’s words to him were around the lines of “Yer pretty strong for a youngin, why don’t ye join our gang ere?” What the hell. He didn’t have a home to go back to, why not go with this guy? This was the second biggest most stupid choice Collin has made.

The big boss of theirs really liked Collin, and Collin really liked him. Think of it as like a “father/son” thing. Rules weren’t as strict in this gang, and the boy managed to survive by pickpocketing and stealing and what not. It seemed like a nice life for him, until one day, sometime when he was 19, things went too far. Collin knew that they were a gang known for the selling of drugs ( don’t worry, he didn’t take any ). He even knew that they could also be called an organized crime group. When he heard word that they were planning to trespass upon private property and steal a whole load of cash, he was apathetic about it. But when he heard that it was his father’s property, oh he was not amused.

He tried to convince the boss to go for a different target, but the man was adamant about this one. Maybe he knew that it was Collin’s father, maybe he didn’t. It didn’t matter, Collin wanted nothing to do with this theft. Even if he hated the guy’s guts, he was still his father. The boss insisted that Collin come along… or else. Forget it man, he wants out. He wants out now. But as said by the boss; Once in the gang, you’re always in the gang. How unpleasant. It seems he’ll have to fight his way out. Even if Collin could secretly be the greatest martial artists in the world ( which he isn’t ) he could never stand a chance against the ENTIRE gang. And even if he did get out, gangs have their connections.

Screw it. With a knife in hand, Collins cut a few throats, stabbed a few people, and even scarred the big boss. He was desperate. It was just then that he realizes how stupid it was to even join in the first place. He ran through the pouring rain, trying to avoid the members chasing after him. You don’t know how much he regrets life now. Sitting on the edge of the streets with nothing to keep himself dry, the young man wasn’t expecting someone to help him until Linnaea Everett came along.

The woman saw him, and instantly mistook Collins for a teenage boy. It annoyed him for a moment, but at least she offered him a place to stay. Linnaea was curious; what would such a nice young man be doing out in the downpour? As they sat in her warm apartment home, Collin explained everything. Well, not exactly everything. Linnaea worked with cops, so if he told her about the gang, God knows how much trouble he’d be in. All he told her about was the part about running away and the living on the streets. He added the fact that he was not a minor anymore, just so she wouldn’t send him back home. Being the benevolent person that she is, Linn let the boy stay at her home, even joking about adopting him.

Finally, things were looking brighter for him. He still looked like a high schooler, but whatever. Linn was nice to him, he had a job to earn money with, and his short temper was getting better ( SORT OF ). He almost forgot about the gang. Almost. On his way to the grocery store, some members of the gang had spotted him, and supposedly remembered him as well. Collin didn’t want to start anything, especially in broad daylight. He ran the other way.

Of course, those guys followed him, no matter how far he ran. Passing by a nearby alley way, he hears a cry for help. Even if his own situation seemed a bit drastic, the cry seemed rather desperate for help. Damn, he must be getting soft. On his way to help, be bumped into a strange man wearing a tuxedo. He let out a silent curse; the gang members were catching up to him. Just as he was going to shout at the man in the tuxedo, to tell the guy to get the hell out of there... he disappeared.
