Well, I don't have many tips, only special take care of the make-up that you'll use -The snazaroo works cool, mine was another brand and it's not very good, but my friends used snazaroo and worked pretty well- and with Fefetasprite... I think it's important to paint a "cat lip": Some shadow on the nose, the small line and finally a bit on the lips.
Finally I used some purple eyeshadow and mascara for paint the eyes and eyelashes
