Just as insignificant as the leaf on the lake
Sedated and fated by the rouse of mankind,
The fallacy of the human is all mistake
Spellbound and heart-bound by all that we find.

To whom do I owe this gratitude?
Misplaced and disgraced while heads are held high,
Broken shells of souls left in such magnitude
As nihilism and anarchism are left as reply.

Material possessions more worthless than dust
Disaster comes faster while the flag waves with pride,
This farce, this travesty, as policy stays unjust
Making rejection perfection to all those denied.

Shame wavers in the lacuna made by sin
A rapist and a purist hold the same gravity,
The writhen shape of fools bare a nasty grin
Molested and tested and vanquished by longevity.

With fists in the air and symbols worn
Sons and little ones are bastards and orphan,
Yet the rose holds a grudge held in a thorn
The abnormality of vitality is the world's endorphin.
