A watercolour illustration of the three 1st gen Pokemon starters. It was created for the 2020 Pokemon day.Pokemon has always been a part of my life, in bigger or smaller parts over the years. My dad got me a Gameboy pocket with Red for my 7th (I think) birthday and then went on to complain that I wanted translations from English to Danish constantly XD
I chose Charmander in that very first playthrough and ever since, I've always chosen the fire starter. Both because that makes it easy to choose and because it's a homage to that very first Charmander.
They all said it was just a phase.
