I first saw this almost 15 years ago, when my 9th grade science teacher scared the crud out of us by blowing out a row of candles, picking one up, and eating it in front of us
FYI, I got that metal straw from 7-11 and it makes a really perfectly sized edible candle. Any stiff fruit or veggie (jicama, apple, turnip, white carrot--all with very "candle colored" flesh) would work, I just happened to have potatoes lying around today.
Hope someone finds some use/amusement for this!

Lol. Didn't quite work out that way, cause I misplaced the matches and left them on the table while I ran around to find them, so she figured it out. XD She still liked them, though, so I was happy.
