I love making molded puto! I've been trying this out on a few bentos and I'm very happy with it. It's easy to make your own shapes and it really has a great texture.I used this first to make Haku the dragon and then for a hedgehog and definitely plan on using this more often.
Sorry for the wobbly pictures. I really need to find someone to take pictures instead of trying to do everything at the same time by myself

How long does the puto last? A few days or does it have to be eaten immediately?

Let it cool and the puto should last about 3-4 days in a ziploc bag (or airtight container) in the fridge.

The spikes are almond slivers. The face is just cut pieces of nori attached with dabs of honey.
