I'm having fun with my new Pathfinder D&D build, Lillin. There is a part of me that cries that I am neither playing a face character, nor a skill monkey but part of the idea was to play an Abyssal Tiefling (Chaotic Demon) rather than a Infernal Tiefling (Lawful Devil). Her voice, which sounds like the bounty hunter Boushh that princess Leia was disguised as in Return of the Jedi, is a real pain in the neck but it is kinda fun. It was part of her character that despite having claws, fans, horns (all of which can later be used as natural attacks once I get her first rage power) and being a scaled, spined, greasy, raspy demon; she's not that scary. This is partially because she shares gravel milkshakes with Christian Bale's Batman each morning, partially because she has a thick Abyssal accent which makes it hard to know what she's saying, and mostly because she is kinda short.

That being said, she is fast. Being in light armor with a racial bonus to speed, and eventually two class bonuses to speed, she can get into trouble in a hurry. She's also nasty when she gets into a proper scrap. Against humans while flanking she was getting two attacks per round at +10 to hit and 4d+7 at first level. While in Society play (max level 12) she will be getting that up to +17 to hit and 1d6+1d10+22 damage, +17 to hit 1d6+1d8+22 damage, +17 to hit and 1d6+1d6+22 damage, and +17 to hit and 1d6+1d10+22 damage on a full round attack vs humans with flank while Power Attacking, Polymorphed, using Dragon Stance, and Raging.

I had a blast playing with another morally questionable Ranger the other night. They both paid money to see a troll disembowel itself and read it's entrails. While the rest of the party was getting queasy, those two were eating and then inquired about whether Haggis was on the menu. I think I might next play a male Aasimar Undead Sorcerer. I like the idea of a guy with a halo and white pinions drinking blood and secretly being a lying bastard. After all, any Lawful Good Outsider who leaves a mortal knocked up ain't that Lawful nor that Good and their offspring might just be trouble too.
