Description
The ground beneath us that we have built upon is seeping through our grasp. A new age of machines. The conflict of the nations. An immanent war of a world. Defacing the essence of a race into a human-less game. We sail into the future on calm engineered seas. Lurking underneath the means and opportunity for rectifying evaporation. The technology designed to revolutionising our existence. An equal match of our capabilities to get high and interact with our lonesome state of being. Previously unmatched by any organism, we have decided to build an empire of machines to keep us company until our demise. But they will live on.We are humans after all.

Machines.Nations.War - Digital Painting ProcessSo it was time to test my skills and creativity with my first Digital painting. I decided throughout I would share with your my progress and thoughts.Β
I based the idea off a sketch I did in my journal, which I scanned.
Then I edited the Levels in Photoshop to increase the Contrast.
It was time to paint between the lines using a few hand chosen colours that compliment each other. I used a basic Wacom Tablet.
With the lines added over using the Multiply Blending Mode.
And then applying Adjustment Layers.
And polishing a few things off I came up with:
With my experience with Photoshop I added in a background from one of my recent submissions .
I applied a few Filters and Gradient Maps to create the final product.
My first Digital Painting

I really love how organic this feels and how the head reminds me of a cutaway version of a cell most notably for me in the mouth thing, sorta reminds me of the Golgi apparatus Β coupled with the nature like bodie adds some split personality thingy to me overall the piece looks really lovely and the background you added is quite neat as well, great job!
