Is this the first time you've ever drawn Maria? Also that title and description have left me feeling incredibly depressed. It's so sad how Maria died in the games/Sonic X.

I honestly cried because of that scene, and when Molly died, and when Cosmo died. I cry easily tbh.
Honestly the Sonic series has some pretty messed up deaths. I mean three girls all 14 years and younger, one gets shot when she was already dying from a disease similar to aids, one gets blown up, the other becomes a tree then gets blown up.

Oh and don't forget about Tikal, while technically her death wasn't shown on screen, she is a spirit, which is essentially a ghost, so she's dead, too. It's like SEGA was like "You die, and you die and guess what? You get to die, too!"

Well the one of Shadow and Maria in the snow did help remove some of the depression I had from this picture.

Even though no one in the games anymore, much less even Shadow, mention or talk about her, I think Shadow still thinks of Maria sometimes..Like, when he has a happy moment, he thinks maybe deep down, Maria would have been happy to.
