Reference Photo byI found the pic last december. and it jsut inspired me... i found a piece of cardboard all folded up and it inspired me lol put it together and you get this. It's my first real painting. it came out very well
and i'm having it framed now... well after a loooong time.enjoy.

I think the colors work extremely well, and in all honesty I think the thing that sets this piece apart the most is the folds in the material. It creates an intresting double take effect that I have no doubt will leave many people with whiplash.

I find it... unnerving painting on a normal piece of canvas... i fold all the cardboard i paint on.. it makes a really big canvas feel so much smaller

awesome use of colour and lighting/shading/shadows, and the cardboard folds give it that extra something

The funny thing about hits is that i don't like blue.... but it's hte colour that paints the easiest for me.. blue and white...... hmmm

this is a really good painting. liked the colours a lot.
i like the feel of it. it looks so.. serene. reminds me of a poem i wrote once.
plus i liked how the folding of the cartboard fit into it, like this serenity has a lot of painful memories things behind it maybe. i dunno.

hmm well the pic is kinda cut up cause I scanned an A3 colour coppy, it has like a whitish background that gives a bit more effect but this is fine for jsut showing peeps
hehe I cna't paint on normal canvas.. i need to do something strange ot hte cardboard else i jsut cna't paint. It's kinda funyn and all just in my head
