cool, what did you use to make the beak? i'm attempting to model on my munny, but i haven't come to a decision on what type of clay or material to use. also before you add the material, do i need to prime or sand it or something? lol im a noob. my first munny came out horrible. i used deco markers

The beak I just used Super Sculpey Original and as far as prepping the vinyl/material, if I am adding sculpey, typically I like to sand the vinyl just a bit. I think that stems from some schooling working with wet clay back in high school 
Once the clay has been hardened after baking and after it cools off of course, depending on what type of texture you are going for, I ALWAYS ALWAYS sand the sculpey. You can attempt to work out all the bumps and get a smooth finish when it is still soft/wet (water does wonders) but I've found that sanding really does the trick.
From my experience, I spend more time prepping than I do making the art it seems lol.
