This picture came from me doodling an Idea I had while talking with about the Beauty Contest in Neopets and the petition she has set up to try and get them to relax at least a little. They will not Accept Akansho into the beauty contest simply because he is spotted rather then striped. I cannot Get Novadar in, and can not get an answer to why he will not be excepted in his Anthro form.But this also has another meaning... Some people debate on which is better -- Anthro or Quad... Here, they are dueling peacefully... And tieing both ways. Both are just a different style, not "the only way". Geeze.
Now.. About the gold horns...
I've been RPing with him and in saving the life of Ymaia, a Kougress who has part of his energies in her creation (Long story) he accidently jolted himself from Mage and placed himself higher in power as a Sorceror... That transistion has an odd side effect -- It colors his hooves, Horns, and tail spike in his darigan form gold. His hands aren't gold because they are skin representing hooves instead of hooves themselves. Plus, it just looked wierd...

XD He's actually my favorite in the comics. I always like the ones with dry wit rather and jokes that make you think.
But what I dont get is... People draw their Pteri's as Faerie even though they are green. Or they draw their Lupe with wings and blue fire when they are red. Why cant she have a spotted white Kougra?
Because "It looks like a real animal".. That was the responce she got from Amanda. Looks too much like a Snow Leopard.
Oh, and the spotted Kougra isn't based on the cheetah... =.=

Well, you could sign the petition if you feel like it. All I'd have to do is tell Fatal on the IM.
But yeah... They wouldn't except Cari and Tetsquati into the neopian times. "Non existant colors". Now.. I get it for Cari, but Tetsquati? he's Green. You Can see that. I can see that. And heck, more "non-existant colors" and "foriegn objects" get in every week then Tetsquati. Did you see the stolen comic from VG cats they put in as a Grarrl? Made my skin bristle. I see more origonal Designs get in.. Yet a yellow design on a leg of a Shadow Wocky and a Kougra with stripes lighter then its fur base because it shows up better cant get in?
Stolen pictures of Oddishes can be entered as LUPES into the beauty contest, yet a spotted Kougra and an Anthro Darigan Ixi cant get in (True story)

Well.... We could always try to do something about it. Signing petitions doesnt do much, really, but it does sometimes get their attention. Sometimes..
Fatal and I were talking about a "sit out then spam", where artists dont go to neo for a week (Or only go on in one account if you must play games or do dailies to keep from being bored out of your skull), then come on and spam the BC with art, filling as many slots as we can with it so they will be able to notice the drop in page views with them rising again with art... Plus, with so much going in, they will have a harder time rejecting all of them.

Yeah, but sometimes things need to be a little more drastic -- take away page views, which takes away money for them. But yeah, it is something EBA does... But we need a good old "Fill every avalable slot you have that you can find art for" wave, rather then just themed BC weeks...

that is cool I am a bit confused though about how they can not let your pets in the bc. Do they look at the pictures and say they can not and if your pet's design is with spots isnt that your idea. Just wandering.

Well, we email Amanda (whos incharge of the BC and most art related things) and she tells us why they dont accept it... They say Akansho doesnt look like a kougra because of the spots.... And I have yet to get a reason for why Nova is not accepted. We just get flooded rejection letters if we try and submit them. TToTT

Oh I see. Well I can understand the thing if it does not look original them not accepting but about the spots that is different. I say isnt there going to be or is a spotted kougra then therefore it would be able to be spotted right? And Well hope you find out about Nova as well.
