*sings* The night santa went crazy! The night Saint Nick went nuts! When I first saw this *AWSOME!* picture, I thought of the Weird Al song, "The Night Santa Went Crazy". I swear! In that, btw, Santa had guns and bombs and flamethrowers...

two things: the knife and the eyes. you know your rendering is very good. compossitionally, I'd make the knife more prominent by increasing the contrast in that area a great deal (with perhaps a glow or something). And the eyes. They have a maniacal, evil, fixated look, but they don't immediately grab the viewer's eye. That, too, I'd make happen through use of greater contrast in their area.
