Description
For =ritas ... [link](Your turn to fold one now!)
John Montroll's origami ladybug design from his book Origami Birds & Bugs.
...And why is it no matter how careful you fold it, it never ends up close to the way it's suppossed to look?

I want to jump out a window after folding langs models. amazing job. Just don't draw on it, because purists hate drawing on models. XD

many a dead/unfinished/ripped Lang models clutter my house.
(I tried the cuckoo clock model once.... )
Luckily, this is a Montroll model.

Montroll models aren't that hard, but lang models are freaking impossible. XD When I was little I thought I was good at origami because I made a flapping bird.

I know. The first origami book I got was a Lang book. Years of frustration there.
(Then I found out his were hard to make.) 200 books later, I'm still on stuck on step 14 of his models.

I have insects and their kin. Some models are hard, but the rest are super complex.

I tried to get a copy of the sequel to that book (but it's only in print in japanese). But yes, one of these days I will figure out how to make the Pillbug model.
I need to get back into origami, but all the books are packed away now.

Yep. She "challenged" me about a week or two back about a comment over her painting.
So, with no ladybugs around, I had to make one....

And now I've answered the dinosaur 'challenge'.
She seems to be inspired. That's good!

Yes. Inspired by yours. For you to enjoy.
I said it might take a while...(I couldn't get to the book right away...)
All origami. 2 hours of folding.
...now I need to make a dinosaur for you... (5 hours to go?)
