edit-7/4/2015: LongSean22 Suggested that the armor plates of the back spin around to create different combinations, like acid or strong/stick web, which is an awesome idea XD! So now it can do that as well. also it can spin around when hung from a string. And as it switches between attack types it's all spinny and clicky. Awesome .

Hey again all !
This drawing was a really fun one to do. The Grimm in RWBY are really cool, and there aren't any spider ones. Well, there is the death stalker which is a scorpion, but still, spiders . So I made a spider one .
I also have been really wanting to try out coloring and more outlining with my pens, so I added that with some coloring from a red marker lying around. And it looks so cool XD! I really like how it came out, and I think it's cool to finally have some color in my art again, even if it's just one or so shades. It was really cool to see the finished product though .
I'll stop ranting.
Anyhow, this is the Tsuchigumo. While I am not quite knowledgeable about the whole legend, they are large spider yokai (aparently that have a oni's head, a tiger's body, and then spider legs, and can also turn into a human but whatever). I wanted to at least sort of follow the tradition of naming all of the Grimm after old stories and characters and literature things, but I couldn't really find any famous spiders, so I went with a legend instead. And while this spider can't shape shift or be all chimera like and all that, There's a reason they're called widow-makers XD. (And that was totally the best pun, and also it's true, they're very poisonous and have webs and shooting poison and really really big nests. I'll show you those later.)
