Now - back on topic. I reckon Sherlock took on one of Mycroft's cases when they were both relatively new to their respective professions. Perhaps this job involved a little breaking and entering. The brothers being brothers of course went about the whole thing arguing the whole way - thus alerting the neighbors to their presence, who in turn - alerted the police.

You see, with her power, and thanks to Sherlock and Jim, Molly's head is kind of a mess; John is the only one who Molly consider as a true friend. But Mycroft... well, he intrigue her, because he show none of his feelings and, to the others who don't have Molly's power, it seen like he actually hasn't any feelings.
But Molly know isn't true, she feel the sentimental mess of Mycroft, he worry baout his brother constantly, and since they have those crazy powers, he worry twice more; and never show it. Molly is intrigue and, in some way, she understand Mycroft. that's why she feels closer to him than any one in the gang.
Also, Mycroft is definitely a familly man, and as a familly man, he LOVE babies (he really love his brother when he was 1) So how can he resist to joshua (Molly's son) ? No he can't and when he see him and his mother play together, he just melts.

I definitely like your Mycroft. I'm personally of the opinion that he has far more layers to his personality than Sherlock gives him credit for (and he lets anyone see of course)
I really like the idea of Molly being able to cut through all of that with her power and be able to see that for all his coldness and omnipotence, he does actually care quite a great deal, not only for Sherlock but for all of them. It's very sweet
Something else that's sweet, Mycroft and Joshua. Seriously - melted into a puddle of awww when I first looked at that lovely little corner
