Then you should pay attention to his composition. How he maintained an ascending diagonal, the shadows on the left side of Thor made a strong sihouette while at the left side the cape is light, but the background is dark. The image is so strong that it stands out in thumbnail form. You should study Mike Mignola and Frank Miller too; then, when you feel confident enough, try Moebius.
