i wanted to live the dream that i never got to when i was like 10 and actually went and made a sonic oc!! here's a little bit about him (sorry if lore-wise there are some things that aren't accurate i havent played a sonic game in a while and im trying to get back into the series)

ok so like his name is Benedict he is a robot that was created by dr. eggman to trick and befriend sonics friends with the goal of then getting close to sonic and then nuking the f*ck out of him, he's like this ultra OP robot killing machine with tons of missiles and stuff

eggman picked a mouse cause that was like, the least threatening animal he could think of except like, the part of his programming that is supposed to be like friendly and nice to deceive all of the other animals is a little messed up so he winds up like, GENUINELY liking them and wanting to be their friend... and now eggman is dying cause he needs to get his expensive a$$ robot back bc benedict has run away to hang out with his new cool animal friends

unfortunately for sonic he DID however put in a failsafe where if benedict ever sees sonic (it turns out even just a picture of sonic) benedicts consciousness will go away and he'll go straight into murder mode and wont stop until either sonic is dead or he powers down. he doesn't remember anything he does when he's in murder mode either

so benedict hears all this stuff about sonic and he like, really wants to meet him? he thinks sonic is like....... the coolest guy EVER and then all of sonics friends are like "HAHA AHHH MAYBE U SHOULDNT!!" after they find out all about benedict's purpose (it didn't take em long to figure out... eggman's outfit choices for his robots are NOT subtle)... they dont know what to do about him cause he is genuinely a really fun and sweet friend but also like he's got more than a bit of a Fatal Flaw
