Background Info: Caroline Ravenson is the second child of Jason & Martha Ravenson and the younger sister of Allen Ravenson. She and her brother grew up mostly on their own due to their parent’s constant absence, and when they were around they would dominate their lives and controlling of their life choices; treating them less like children and more like property. Because of this, Caroline became isolated and a shut-in, constantly locking herself away from the world with nothing but her computer for company.

During this time, she became wrapped up in many conspiracy theorist communities online and became paranoid and distrusting of anything and everything in her life. She eventually discovered the "Snake-People" theory and came to the conclusion that everything that goes wrong in the world is the fault of them. She would try to tell her classmates about this but they wouldn't believe her and she became a laughingstock at skool, causing her to stop attending altogether.

After she stopped attending skool, she spent most of her time dumpster diving, inventing machines and gadgets to Protect and aid herself, spending hundreds of dollars on snake, fish and essential oils, creating insane conspiracy theories, blaming everything on sneopole, and mostly becoming a hermit.

One day, while dumpster diving, she meets Dib Membrane (Who had just hit her in the head with a broom, because he thought she was raccoon) and they form an alliance to "Stop the sneopole" in her words. This doesn't last long, however, as after Dib ended up causing one her inventions to explode at the school science fair by accident. In a panic, Dib threw Caroline under the bu; causing her to be blamed for the incident and quickly dissolving their alliance.

Not much later, Caroline is yet again dumpster diving when a mechanical grabs her and drags her inside the house of the owner. When she wakes, she finds herself strapped to some sort of autopsy table in what appears to some kind of laboratory, and comes to the conclusion that she has been captured by the sneople for knowing too much, and her suspicions seem to be confirmed when she is confronted by small, green, creature: Invader ZIM. he starts demanding to know what she was doing in his trash, to which she responds with calling him a "Filthy Snake person" after a little while of this, Zim gets fed up and announces that he is, in fact, an alien.

Caroline relieved by this revelation, as she thought the sneople had found her and was glad it was just an alien instead. She asks if he will let her go now, to which he refuses and tells her he is going to replace her brain with that of a frog's. He then notices her goggles and asks where she got them, to which she explains she made them herself from garbage she had collected and they have night vision, X-ray vision, heat vision, have vision magnification, and also can protect her eyes from the many vision control waves created by the government. She also noted how a lot of his lab would need some upgrades which could probably do if he let her go.

Zim, impressed by her inventing skills and knowledge of alien tech, decides to spare her under the condition that she works for him from then on. Caroline Accepts, only when Zim claims that he and the sneople are mortal enemies. She now works for Zim, helping him build weapons of mass destruction to aid him in his quest for world domination.
