Ahhh man, THIS GAL HERE. This is Charlotte.
She's a veryyyy old character that first appeared in a dream I had in high school.
And then ended up being tied to a story that I just never finished... But still have ideas for.

ANYHOW. She is the original reason that I connect goldfish to myself so much.
In my dream, she sort of goes back and forth between two realities, and she is guided by floating goldfish that illuminate the way.
She's just trying to find her way back to somewhere familiar, but nowhere seems to really fit due to memory loss that seems to get worse as time passes.
The only thing that ever remains familiar to her is a man who she finds in a market one day, who ends up suffering from memory loss as well. His is from a fugue state that, in the end, was brought on from her original disappearance. They are actually married, before all of these events, but sort of have to find themselves and each other again while following this mysterious floating goldfish.
