Description I tagged it as mature because not everyone might want to see it, it's not completely inappropriate or anything (I'm not a pervert x.x)

Update: Untagged it as mature, was told it doesn't need one. Hopefully that goes well

I'm just kinda experimenting a tiny bit, it's not a thing that's really gonna last

Also yay another drawing of Black Widow xP

This is an interesting style. Really like the use of red for the outline and the white draws attention to the face. You convey character personality through posing really well and it shows here. Keep it up!

Heyo, I'm from ProjectComment Β and I'd like to critique your piece, if you don't mind!
So, the first thing I'd like to note is your use of colors, and there are a few pros and cons. The pros first! The colors black, white, and red only use a few shades, giving it a nice minimalistic feel, and the red isn't an over-saturated shade, which is really nice! The few problems I have are the usage of absolute white and black, the lack of shading, and the lack of form. If minimalism is what you are going for, then only the first one applies. But in case you weren't, here's a few shading tips: when you're shading a piece, try using a color that is a slightly different hue that the color you're using, as well as going darker or lighter in the different hue. It can really breathe life into otherwise flat pieces! The lack of form (or 3 dimensionality) could also be solved with shading. Of course, these are a matter of personal preference and style, but the lack of shading somewhat bothers me. And the last thing, remember what I said about the picture feeling flat? Much of that could be avoided by not using straight black or white. Those two colors (and any of the shades of just straight grey) will make any piece feel flat and boring, so try to use shades close but not completely black. The outlines are fine, but maybe an off-white outline would've differentiated the piece a bit better from the background?

The pose is lively and full of character, I really enjoy how I can really get a feel for the character's personality just through the picture alone! While I'm on the subject, the character design isΒ nice as well, and while plain, isn't covered in excess details that are ultimately useless. Kudos to you!
Last thing, background? AnyΒ kind of background would have been nice to see. Even if it was a graphic-design background with just a few polygons in space, it's certainly more interesting than the endless void. Try finding textures that you really like, or look at other pieces without fell backgrounds that still make good use of the space behind them!

I think that's it, thank you so much for giving me your time, and please note that this is just my opinion, and none of this was said with any intention of insulting or offending you. Have a great day/evening/afternoon!

It's not problem! I always get a little worried when I critique a piece because I've gotten a bit of backlash in the past, but it's all good! I'm glad you found it helpful!

Nice stuff!Β  Don't fret the anatomy too much -- your style is your style.Β  Just keep it consistent for the character(s) and it will be fine.Β  Thick legs and pointy fingers?Β  Thin legs and stubby fingers?Β  Whatever, it's yours.

One note about colors -- consider how it's viewed.Β  Low value/saturation changes with darker colors/backgrounds may be hard to see depending on the monitor contrast setting.Β Β  Consider checking yours through a site like: www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/

I was having a very hard time visiting some gray on black websites, and it turned out my monitor setting collapsed the bottom 30% saturation to all black!Β  A few button adjustments later and I could see everything.

Have fun and keep drawing!

It's looks Good I would suggest using References as well and a bit of a clean up on the linework, but overall it's a solid piece and the colors you chose work well.

Looks good. Though I suggest you use references to help with anatomy. The neck is bit too thick and the legs look a bit off. But you're doing great! Keep up the good work!

Also, I doubt this needs the mature content filter. There's worse stuff on here that doesn't have one, and this doesn't even look sexual or show anything inappropriate.
