It's like Tony Hawk once put it. "The only time you truly lose is when you give up" I almost never get comments on my written works and at best a few hundred views. My account is four years old and has over 130 deviations on it. I'm slowly building up steam by making friends on this site and what little I get is enough to keep going. If you give up then all you're doing is giving those who don't appreciate your artistic abilities the victory.

DeviantArt is a website for people to express all forms of art. Unlike most writing websites which are bogged down with obsessive grammar nazis and pay-to-win strategies (writer.com makes you pay to upload more than an X amount of stories) or the rest which suffer from tiny communities the people on DeviantArt seem more interested in the enjoying of art than the criticizing of it. It just takes a little effort to get noticed, which winds up being very rewarding.
