Description
This is another commission for the same person that I did "Take Courage with You" for Link --> [link]I decided to do a smoother piece in warmer colours. This piece is done to Corrine Bailey Rae's music. I felt the music brings out a sense of smooth flow with some enchanting moments (hence the splashed 'dots' ). The general feel of the music is relaxed, warm and positive, with some beautiful moments of energy. This is all that I tried to portray through the composition of the piece.

Lol thanks. Yeah I suggest you go check out her song "Enchantment". I think it gets the feel of the painting across the best of all her songs

Well, it totally depends on the person for whom I am doing the painting. It's more about what music they like, and also what type of room the painting will be hung in. So this one is probably going in a lounge, and the woman I did it for wanted something warm and relaxing.
If I were doing it for me, it would also depend on my mood at the time... I have a very eclectic music taste, I must admit. I like rock and metal, but find it difficult to paint to most of it. So I guess I would have to say more lounge drum n bass, or even a bit of indie if I'm happy or something smooth like John Mayer if it's raining outside... o_0

I think you portrayed it well here. I am really liking the peach sphere in the bottom center, right that has that nice soft warm glow to it. You did a really beautiful job on this one!
