What THAT Sonic Prime flashback scene should've looked like...

Just saw Sonic Prime in it's entirety, and it was pretty decent (apart from the retro flashback scenes). The animation was great, the new voice actors do a good job and the story is also not bad. It is more evident that this is aimed towards a younger demographic though. Overall I'd give this show a 8/10.

As for this scene... oh boy, where do I even begin. First, the backgrounds and music are based off Sonic Advance 3. Interesting choice, considering the other flashbacks were in the Mega Drive/Genesis style, but I like it. However, Sonic and Tails both use their "16-bit sprites but worse" sprites, and they look really bad, especially Tails. Also the movement and animation is stiff as hecc. Unfortunately, I do not have much experience with large-scale animation software such as Adobe Animate, so take these screenshot recreations instead. Hopefully someone will get on that in the coming days/weeks.
