hi there me again, i love this so much, that i would look at this every now and then, i was wondering if the two pearls on the very top of her head set pins are misplaced because there are the same pearls on the tip of each of the cool pink sticks but the two on the top are missing them but there are two pearls near of where it could be on the right of the two sticks. peace & love, april

I love the wings and the eye's patterning the most. Though I believe there are too many circle objects for my liking. XD.
Oh and the reason I wanted to watch you was I like your style, the elongated necks and your use of not only vector but pixel and was it photoshop?
The great use of color scheme and dedication. If this isnt just a hobby it might make you a very promissing future.

Thank you! I agree about the circular objects, but at the same time they're not TOO annoying, I think.....XD
Yeah, I use Illustrator, Photoshop, 3DStudio Max, ZBrush, MS Paint LOL....I'm multimedia!
Right now I'm studying for my BA in Game At and Design - Vector stuff like this is kind of a hobby, but this stuff is slowly weaseling in to my portfolio so who knows what I'll end up doing?

Never heard of Zbrush before. I just learned photoshop in my school's mini winter semester so, your one of the DA people I'm looking up to to improve those skills. What College your studying at? I dont even know if your In the US or somewhere else.
Right now Im a Graphic Design/Illustration Major myself. I wanted once to learn stuff like how they created the fur on Monsters Inc; but for some reason my writing skills and drawing skills seem to be taking me into advertizements. Kinda lame.
The more practice and dedication to a project; you know its going to look much better.

Right now I'm studing at the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg campus (much less prestigious than the Chicago campus. LOL). I'm about a year away from graduation....*realization sinks in* Aaaaaa! I'm only 19 and I'm almost a college graduate! Damn you 4 year degrees in 3 years! Noooo* Anyway...
Honestly most of the best artists at my school are the graphic design/visual communications people...in my school at least, Game Art is a predominantly male (there are, I think, 5 girls in the whole major, yours truly included...as are ~Ammotu , ~Majoh , and...I don't think that the others are on DA, sadly)...and they're mostly just guys who like video games, not necessarily good artists (this isn't always true of course, there are some awesome artists too, a lot of them are very heavily 3D oriented too)
A very talented artist I know, * wrecktangle , went to our school to study visual cmmunication and wants to be an illustrator. Right now he's stuck designing billboards and CD covers, LOL!

I guess it depends on whose ass you smack. Chicago, NY and I think Los Angeles are the best places for anyone who is studying Graphics to start. That sucks for the guy; Only 6 pieces in his gallery though; hes being cheap with the public I guess.
Ah yes I would have graduated myself as well. If I didnt need two math classes. But Damn you did that quickly, Im only in a 2 yr school, your in a four; I could have graduated already and been on my way making cards for Hallmark XD.
So your going to be 20 too? Doesn't it suck? We cant blend in with those teenage angsts and people expect more gratifying things from us now. Pretty soon I'll be eating my apple sauce though a tube. Woo whoo!

....I get my applesauce pureed the remove the chunks.
Yeah, he doesn't post everything he does. I've seen some fo his personal (non school) stuff, and it rocks.
Yeah, I go to school in the summer too, so I've progressed through it quickly...plus I came here about 3 weeks after high school graduation....I need a vacation, LOL!
I'm sick of doing my own taxes and scheduling my own dentist appointments. I'm still a child!....except that I don't live at home anymore, LOL!

This sooo beautiful! I love it!! Thank you so much.
The hair ornament is wonderful and I love all the pearls and bubbles. The colors are just to die for as well. Such a wonderful piece!
As I said, you really didn't owe me a thing, I just love your work so much I wanted to try and see if I could get one of the pieces some attention. I'm really glad I was able to. You deserve it all.
This is my new desktop.

I am so glad that you like it! As soon as I decided to give you a giftart, this exact (well, close to exact) pic popped into my head and I just sat down right away to do it! It was pretty weird, usually my stuff starts out as being one thing and ends up being another thing (causing a lot of difficulties when I'm trying to find the original Illustrator files for something...for example, A Walk through Cherry Blossoms started off as Acid Queen, LOL!) But this has a clear path from beginning to end!
Plus I now know how to make pearls and bubble, woohoo!

Oh man I do that too! I find myself trying to find images to either correct problems or make prints and I can't remember what I named them. Or I have 15 different files because I kept changing one little thing. Its really rare one of my sketches even looks remotely like the finished piece.
I think that is what kinda makes it fun. I am so lazy with my sketches that I just let the computer do all the work.
