Absolutely gorgeous! I love how beautifully the mood has been set, as well as the gorgeous and fantastic appearance of the unicorn is! Lovely work as always ^_^

Fantastic creation. I wouldn't have put the horn angle at exactly that level (would've made the base down a little more, and had it come straighter out), but still an absolutely amazing piece of artwork and really an incredible idea from the start - a swamp unicorn. "Brilliant!" like those guys on the commercial say.

Something about the picture seems really deep and emotional. I think it's probably the hair covering it's eyes. The unicorn looks lonely yet his head is still straight and determined, as if knowing the truths about the loneliness in the swamp yet living proud with that thought in mind. Indeed it is very majestic, and also unexpected like someone mentioned above.
Most unicorns are a symbol of purity and magnificence, thats why they are always drawn with that radiant and glowing expression and pose. Yet if one had to think deeply about the expression and feeling which the pictures gives, it is also magnificent and pure, maybe of determination, just like all the other unicorns out there. *two thumbs up*

I like the fact that this isn't the usual take on a unicorn. Most people make them really glowy and majestic (think My Little Pony... or the crappy unicorn that I drew). Yours actually looks like a natural creature.

I was looking through a book about horses that I found in my basement (When I was about 15 all my friends drew horses, and I sucked at drawing them, so I bought one of those picture books for reference, lol) and there was a whole chapter on those shaggy ponies that live on islands and in swamps and stuff, and I thought that they looked cool. They definitely looked a lot tougher than other horses, like the Arab (which is probably the closest looking horse to a unicorn out there) so I thought that a little shaggy unicorn could be a different kind of majestic.
I like your unicorn though! I like glowy unicorns in general....I just like being unexpected a little bit more
