Frost winced in empathy when he saw the arrow miss the snowball he threw.Frost: Yeah, my aim was that bad too... *He made a snow mound.* This should be easier to hit. *He moved quickly away from it as he saw Cupid ready the next arrow.*

Cupid removed the red heart covering, exposing the serrated and very sharp point.
Cupid: *he loaded it into his bow* Ready.

Frost: *He went and stood beside Cupid.* OK, now see how close to the center you can make it hit.

Cupid shot it at the target...
...and missed, sending the arrow into the wall beside the target.
Cupid: ...darn.

Frost: *He smiled encouragingly at Cupid.* It takes time Cupid. It took me a while to get my aim as good as it is, and a lot of practice too. Keep practicing a little each day, and your aim will get better.

Cupid loaded another one and aimed it at the target. He shook a little as he concentrated..
..until the tension put on the string made it break and sent it onto Cupids face with a smack.
Cupid: *red line down his face left behind by the string caused one of his eyes to be squint*..ow..!

Frost: I think we should practice more tomorrow, I know how hard it is to concentrate thru pain. *He handed Cupid a thermos with hot chocolate.*

Frost: No problem Cupid, I always like helping my friends! *He smiled at him.*
*He reached up to his head, around where his scars were.* Took me months to recover from going into that tree, and in that time I grew more and more frustrated with myself. It's why I practiced a lot once I was released.

Frost: *He went over to the nearest slope, and strapped on his board. He took a deep breath as he looked downhill towards the ramp that was there. He said quietly to himself.* Hope I nail it this time...
*He went downhill, picking up speed as he went, and launched himself off of the ramp. He did a number of spins and flips in the air before he landed.*
