Speedpaint for this one as I needed it fast for an upcoming campaign.Nevertheless fantastic kit. Love the Astra Mechanicum details.

Yes, speedpaint. this is an accumulation of cheap tricks that look good.But basically basecoat, wash, drybrush. I paid attention that the washes (shades) could be the same on every metal part, and the final highlight too. That way I could do some layers with a really big brush. After that I just quickly picked out a few details to create focal points.

I did not went in on them to much in this model. This is done rather fast with washes and drybrushing techiniques. After that I just picked out a few details.
