At first, I was going to draw a bust. I put in a flat plain background, added the arms, and then decided I wanted to put water in the picture. In the end, this was the result.

Basic Info:
Nixie, a kind and gentle fairy, but very mischievous. She'll pull pranks on people to keep them away from her secret garden. The garden is usually bright and sunny.

It's very adorable, and certainly a huge improvement over the previous version. You couldn't have put this pic up at a better time, since it's spring and the nice weather is coming soon.

I thought about redrawing her after seeing other people posting progress pics. I actually didn't think about the fact that it's spring.
