Description This image is inspired by both Totoro and Alice in Wonderland story. I controlled the lighting to hopefully pushing the sense of mystery and unknown-ness.. also to bring the focus back to the boy and the monster's hand. Is he a good monster or evil one? that's up to you to decide.

bahaha the boy looks pretty terrified even tho we can't see his face, probably interpreted by his stance. also initially i went 'evil monster!', but i looked at the monsters eyes and they didn't look that evil... very interesting. good work

I'm going to go with evil, I don't trust them red eyes Really nice sense of foreboding & I think the lighting here adds to that effect.

Alright! Full page! Wow, lovely color blending, the shadows look great. It's interesting how you chose to keep the little boy's head smooth. It still conveys texture though, and I really like that. The colors of his outfit are very childlike. Everything seems very well composed.
