Description
Species: Half-Human, Half-Bird Youkai (most likely crow tengu)Birthday: September 26th, 1994
Ability: Variety of Magic, especially involving light and darkness
Occupation: Works with Nitori and Patchouli
Home: House in the Forest of Magic
As a human baby, he was left alone in the middle of the Forest of Magic without any knowledge of his true parents. It was until the evil spirit Mima had found him as she was wandering through the forest and decided to adopt him as one of her own in an attempt to have a follower taking him back to her home at the Hakurei shrine as a sealed spirit. So, for the next 10 years, she took care of him, nurturing and teaching him with a major drawback: he had no skill in performing any sort of magic. At the same time, she didn't think of a name for him until Marisa Kirisame became Mima's student. Marisa found the young boy and started calling him Mini because she was taller than him. Mima, with no argument, decided to follow up Marisa's name and give him that name. Despite that, Marisa gave Mini a spare hat she had as an act of friendship. At age 10, Marisa then took Mini to the Kappa Valley. However, Mini went lost in the valley only to search his way out until he bumped into the kappa engineer Nitori Kawashiro. To his knowledge, Mini had no idea what the kappa was planning to make or what she was doing, but he then asked her to help him out of the valley. Nitori, however, said no being preoccupied with her work, but Mini negotiated that if he helped her in any way possible with her project, she'd lead him out of the valley. Nitori agreed to his terms. It was only a few hours until the two became quick friends despite Mini's mess-ups due to lack of knowledge with machinery. To his curiosity, Mini had asked Nitori if there was a way that an ordinary human can obtain magical ability, so she tells him that she knows of only two ways. Either a magician (lots of practice and time until any magic could be used) or a half-youkai (quick and easy with science, but may come with dangerous consequences to the human psyche). So, Nitori had stuck him into a DNA-splicing lab while taking out a sample of crow tengu blood. The experiment was a success with evident changes such as the wings on his back. However, Nitori continues to watch Mini extensively in case any problems were to occur. Mini then left the valley with Marisa and told Nitori that he'd be willing to help Nitori again anytime. He then returned to Mima to complete more of his training with better results, but not to rival Marisa's in the slightest. When it came to that time, he decided to move out of Mima's home and went with Marisa and Nitori to build a new home (only to catch the attention of a certain ice fairy as a neighbor). A year later (roughly half a year before Mini met Megumi), Marisa convinced Mini to join her in a visit the Voile Library promising that the books there would have extensive information on spells and such. However, what was a simple visit turned into a book raid while evading the librarian Patchouli Knowledge. With a destructive escape, Marisa exits the library with a grin on her face leaving Mini in the clutches of Patchouli. Interested how a human is able to maintain sanity with youkai energy, Patchouli decided to lighten the punishment by making him work for her to repay the debt he and Marisa did. Observing her, Mini decided to ask Patchouli if she can teach him to perform magic better. Patchouli accepted his request and gave him a staff to enhance his magical abilities and to be more versatile. Now, Mini lives a more or less calm lifestyle in Gensokyo.

Maybe the description is a little disorganized, but of all things, he is definitely not a Stu/Sue.

Character graphic is OK, but the story is off in many places, like why did his parents abandon him and why did Mima want to adopt him? And why did he want to become a half tengu? I don't know why but the story makes no sense at all. kill me

I wouldn't say off in many places. Β Just unexplained. Β Either way, it's simple.
His parents weren't able to support him nor could anyone else, so they ended up having to leave him in the forest only to get chased away by the wandering threats around them. Β Considering that they couldn't have trekked too far into the forest, Mima would easily find him just outside and take him into the shrine to turn him into her follower/disciple/student to carry on her legacy and teachings. Β As for the half tengu thing, he couldn't perform any kind of magic and was left to the rivalry with Marisa (or catching up with her). Β So, when given the option, his impatience with himself and lack of ability, he chose to do so despite the risk it carried.

If he's (you're) a half tengu, wouldn't you have strong wind magic?

Just another half-human, half-youkai person just trying to live his life, despite his journey and the people he met.
