Part III of the series with the same girl from Ionic andIonic Radius . There will be one more, I think, and that 4th one will reveal a secret about her.I used Opencanvas for the sketch and initial colors, and Painter7 for refining. I looked at a photo ref for the pose, a picture from a catalog of Adriana Lima wearing a bikini and a cotton tanktop. (I can send the link if anyone is interested.) I interpreted the pose and anatomy and made up the clothes, head, and colors. There are some issues with the angle of her hips and torso, but overall I like how this turned out, especially the clothes.

Amazing, I cant believe I havent seen your work till now. I had no idea what I was missing, this place just keeps getting better (the website), the work is so outstanding and this peace is a fine example. It looks so much like it was actully painted on a real canvus but you say it was a program called Painter 7?! Amazing.

This is really a great painting. I really like the color of the eyes, and the color of the hair is still great as it was in Ionic. I like the background color and the blurry abstract cityscape in the upper-left.
The skin-toned lighting on the clothing is a little weird. Where'd that come from? Also, I too notice the "issues with the angle of her hips and torso," but it seems as though that could easily be fixed by moving the belly-button slightly (to our right?) and maybe changing the lighting. Also, on her right shoulder, the lighting/shading seems to look like a bruise, or at least it does on my monitor.
Overall, a nice painting though.

I love her hair. I wish I had powder pink bullbous hair. One a more technical note, the shading and texture in the hair is great... as is her pose. It's not quite human. In a good way, of course. She looks aloof and aware all wraped up in one, secret agent style.
