ModFor Raster's birthday chapters.
Kind of a mix between two styles that I like to use (dollish and realistic). Done freehand in Photoshop 6.0. The reference photo was this one of model Trish Goff: [link] I've done a walk-through for an airbrush piece similar to style of this one for Raster, it's in the InFocus section there. (thanks for the correction ~midsummerstorm )

this is gorgeous. it looks so real. when i first saw it my mind went to rachel leigh cook. she's an actress.... but i think she is beautiful all the same. this is stunning. *jealous* i wish i could draw.

Lovely colours! And a really good result with her hair I must say! Did you use a mouse or some other tool to make it? I feel like using the mouse wouldn’t give you enough accuracy and control. Am I wrong?

great except what is with the bluriness on half of the left eye between the strand of hair, and the head of hair, even many single starnds of hair could not diffuse it like that.

the neck is too long so it kinda looks a little deformed but its definitely still high quality

So... thios pic has been on top of my favorites for weeks now, and I keep staring at it, and ever time I see it I fall in love with this girl that doesn't exist all over again. You have created something of inhuman beauty that brings out my own pathetic[ness] every time I see it. I want to be like that one king in the story that had a statue made, then feel so in love with it that it came to life... only with your picture here. I know it isn't possible for a person to be that beautiful, but your creation here has made me long for the perfect love so, that my heart aches every time I see it (but in a good way)
