For a little change of pace, a portrait done from imagination. Usually, I work from reference photos, but this time, my only inspiration was a package of caramels.I started this in Opencanvas and finished it in PS. I didn't intend for her to look like anyone, although someone mentioned that the hair style makes her look kind of Aaliyah-ish.

I have tried drawing in opencanvas and I don't know why but I am soo lousy at using the program

The expression and "mood" over this is really good....I think that this is made out of imagenation has given it more "personality" then then once you make with references...
Maybe I am wrong....

opencanvas is great, its fast and it has many useful options like rotating the canvas quickly, i bought the release key a week ago, and it really has paid off in terms of enjoyment, im really havin' fun although i have had my wacom just for a month now

Well done! Nice warm ambient. The hair isn't as detailed as usual, but I wish I could do anything like this Some retouching on the chin shadows would improve it too.
