To get a better understanding of how the face of red foxes is shaped, I took a couple of photos, looked for common and significant lines to trace and tried to replicate the same lines on all of those faces.
These are not the same fox, but various red foxes from random photos I found. As labeled, the seasons are also different, and the climate has a big impact on how long the fur on their faces is.
This is not the most accurate reference material at all. A lot of it was just based on guessing where to place some lines. It's not as accurate as a detailed 3D model would be for example. But it helped me understand their faces a lot better. And I hope that it is helpful to you too. That's why I post it here <3
