I thought I didn't like Jack x Hiccup until I read this fanfiction . THIS IS THE BEST SHIP EVER.
Well, one of them at least! Especially when their characters are well portrayed. And hell, I'm telling you, this fic is GOOD. 
Even if you don't like this pairing, GO READ IT, since it will make you like it! Happened to me.

I'm just not too fond of relationships being forced on people. I mean, from what I remember in the story, it didn't seem like there was much development at the beginning. Sure love at first sight can happen but it seems to happen all too much with pairing fics like these. .3.

Jack looks absolutely thrilled that Hiccup can see him and Hiccup looks like he's wondering if Jack has gone bonkers or something.
And, for the shippers out there (I'm a neutral party on ships) fun fact time. The Vikings were among the first people to write the stories of Jack Frost, at that time he was known as Jokul Frosti. And, likely everyone in Berk (even the grown ups) would have belived in him and be able to see him. They'd just know him by a different name. food for thought for future fics.
