Ah, at last! A tutorial! Fullview and have a look, please. :3 Oh, and I'ts done in Paint Shop Pro, but I dont see why the techniques wouldn't work in other similar programs, like Photoshop.School starts at 12.30 today. Mruff.

Wow! I've never seen a better cloud tutorial. Clouds have always been a problem for me (I tend to do night scenes to keep from having to do them. lol) but I've definitely got to try this! Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

Ive seen some cloud tutorials, such a bother, just a bunch of "use a large brush and opacity at 1 and click away" ...ill try this, thing with paintshop is i think its got the, characteristics of how painting is? hehe, but it seems the smudge tool is the key. thanks, keep the good stuff comin

This is a wonderful tutorial, definitely helped me a lot! The last 2 cloud types were a bit too complex for me though so I didn't try those.
I was wondering how you make your background color so that it starts dark at the top and fades at the bottom?

Probably, at least I've been able to use almost every Photoshop-tutorial I've found, but some of the components may have a different name. Try it. ^__^
