Don't worry, wolves do eat egg whenever they run into one, they don't need to be desperate enough to do so... The only difference is they usually go for the ones on ground nests... But I most say I prefer your version of it...
I believe you are a great artist and I'm having trouble not 'Faving' your whole gallery... lol...

yes wolves eat eggs infact my late wolf Silver had a dinner of 7 quail eggs just days before he passed ( no they where not the cause of his passing) a quail left her nest and he had one of the best snacks he could have hoped for.

I think they do when they can get their paws on them. I've seen the occasional jackal joining other animals for an ostrich egg feast, and I know that many dogs will lap up spilled raw egg pretty quick. I dunno if they actually go after eggs like this but...its quite the amusing image

Adorable! I've actually seen my cats make a tower like this to reach doorknobs..isn't too much of a stretch for me to believe an intelligent creature, such as the wolf, wouldn't try the same
