So, speculatively this is the Librarian's first incarnation, with the commander's second. Did they know each other at this time? I don't know.I just thought it would be funny as the Librarian's second regeneration (her current one) is taller than the Commander's third regeneration.
So there was probably a period of overlap, where they were the same height. Either both short, or both tall. Either way, I find it amusing.
Why did the Librarian regenerate? She doesn't like to talk about it, but when pressed, will mutter something about revolving doors, long skirts, and the Complete Works of Wm. Shakespeare III.

Don't know HOW I kept missing this. I like the idea of the two of them being the same height at some point. And Librarian's regeneration sounds....painful.

It was, for the small amount of time she was conscious. But it's the embarrassment of essentially being killed by a book that upsets her the most.

Yes. Which is slightly ironic as the Librarian is now tall enough to reach it on its previous shelf without a ladder. She doesn't check it out very often, though, and she doesn't use the revolving door anymore.

I'm going to say that they were both tall at the same time; in my head, at least, this regeneration is relatively new for the Commander. But this is fantastic.

Yeah, them both being tall at the same time made more sense after I thought about it for a bit.
