Takashi Morinozuka Xreader chapter 3
Mori and Honey came by and picked you and Haruhi up before school. You were still surprised that you lived right next to Haruhi, well at least you had someone close by all the time.
You sat in your math class bored out of your mind, math was the worst!! But you tried your hardest to pay attention…bbbuuuttt…that didn’t last long.
After math you walked down the hall to music room 3. You got to the room “The host club is now open for business” You read, and then opened the door. Inside were all the hosts Mori Honey and everyone, but now there were so many girls fawning over the guys. You stood there confused at what you should be doing. One girl looked over at you with a glair. Then you saw Mori who gave you a sweet smile, you smiled back.
“oh (name) you’re finally here, we need some music” Kyoya said jotting more stuff down in his creepy black book
“what am I supposed to play?” You asked annoyed
“Just pick something quickly” He coldly said and walked away
You picked a song from your large fold of sheet music, you decided on something you wrote yourself it was called Pixies in the Woods. It was an upbeat song but it was smooth and happily sounding. No one will even know what this song is so it would be perfect.
“If I could have everyone’s attention please” Tamaki started “We will be provided with special entertainment today by miss (last name), she a skilled instrumentalist here from America, please allow here to enchant us with her music.” Tamaki motioned for you to begin and he sat down. All eyes were on you now, but it was Mori’s eyes that made it all easier for you, his gaze was soft and you smiled.
You started to play, of course no one knew what you were playing, Kyoya gave you a look. And of course you didn’t see, but Mori did and Mori gave him a look back. Tamaki, Honey, and the twins all were excitingly listening and doing what they do best. Haruhi watched in awe over your song.
Your song ended and you gave a little bow. Mori stood up and started clapping, and everyone soon fallowed in the clapping. You got some weird looks from some of the girls mainly because you still didn’t have a uniform, but whatever.
Time went on and you sat with Mori and Honey. Honey entertained their guests. A few of the girls glared at you for being with Mori but he didn’t seem to care so you didn’t.
The guests left so now it was just you and the hosts
“(name)-Chan that song you played was amazing!” Honey shouted hugging your arm
“Thanks Honey, I wrote it myself” you said with a smile
“Yes I was wondering about that” Kyoya said pushing up his glasses “I didn’t sound familiar”
“I liked it” Mori’s strong voice came from behind you
“I’m not saying that I didn’t like it, I just didn’t recognize it” Kyoya closed his book
You looked at the clock “I have to be with the orchestra in about 20 minutes” You said up to Mori who now had his strong arms around your torso
“Alright” He said “Want to go for a walk before you have to be there?”
You giggled “alright” Mori took your hand and led you out the door waving to everyone else
“She’s amazing” Haruhi said after you and Mori left
“She is something” Kyoya plainly stated
“I agree, (name)-chan has made Takashi pretty happy even though she’s only been here two days. He told me himself” Honey said hugging his stuffed bunny tightly
Tamaki smiled “Well we won’t have to do much work then”
“what do you mean boss?” The twins said in unison
“We don’t have to get them together, they did that on their own, so we have no work here to do” Tamaki said and Haruhi smiled at him
((You and Mori))
“(name)” Mori said softly walking with you outside
“Yeah” You looked up at him
“Are you sure you want to do the battled of the bands contest?” You looked at him confused “If you need money all you have to do is ask.”
You stopped walking and stood in front of him “I’m not doing it for the money, it’s much more than that, it’s fun for me to play and sing, the money is just an added bonus the winner gets, I don’t know if I’ll win. And if I need money my dad or sister will send me some. The battled is being televised all over the world, on a channel my mom watches every night, so she will see me up on stage and see me play, she never believed I could do anything, she also doesn’t even know I’m in Japan, so when she sees me she will be super shocked and pissed.” You gave an evil smile
He looked at you puzzled ‘what is she talking about?’ Mori thought “I don’t get it” he said
“It’s complicated I know, I don’t like my mom, that’s a long story to tell right now. But I want her to see me on stage, on TV, and having fun, it’ll kill her. It’s going to be fun” you sighed “Please don’t look at me like I’m a lunatic”
Mori’s eyes widened for a second but then softened “You’re not a lunatic” He wrapped his arm around you “Just complicated” You and him started walking again
“Hey!” you shouted “I do what I want!” you pouted and Mori chuckled
Mori led you to a maze, and in the maze to a gazebo, you sat in the gazebo with Mori and he took you in his arms, you leaned into his chest and nuzzled your face into his neck, he was so warm and his strong arms made you feel safe.
You sat there for a bit in silence but then you said “Do you want to come see me practice today for battle of the bands? I can invite two guests to come with me, you and Honey can come”
“Yeah, he’ll enjoy that, as will I” He gave you his sweet smile and then kissed you
“I told you they were going to kiss!” You heard Tamaki’s voice in a harsh whisper come from behind some bushes
“Tamaki” Mori said angrily
Tamaki stood up, with everyone else to fallow “Um yes Mori-senpai?” he said nervously
“Leave” Mori said again angrily
“Ok, Mori-senpai” Tamaki slowly backed away with everyone else trailing behind them
“Sorry guys I told them not to” Haruhi said as she walked away with them
“Bye bye you two!” Honey shouted at you and Mori as he happily skipped away
The gang left and you looked up at Mori who was pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance “I’m sorry about them”
“It’s ok” You pulled his face to yours and kissed him again “I have to go to practice soon”
“Right” He said giving you one more kiss and standing you up.
Mori walked you back into music room 3, the twins and Tamaki were hiding behind Kyoya while Haruhi and Honey waved happily at you as you got your violin and Mori walked you to practice
You opened the door to the practice room and all eyes fell on you and Mori, some whispers were heard. The teacher was the same one you have for conducting class so that was a relief. He motioned you to take your seat. First violin first chair. Awesome!
“Ah Mr. Morinozuka would you like to stay and listen?” The teacher asked
“Yeah, I would” Mori said giving you a sly smile
Some girls around you whispered about Mori being there and that they were nervous
The conductor stepped in front of the orchestra and Mori sat off to the side with a good view of you “First we will tune” The conductor said “(name) please lead the class in tune” you nodded and stood up playing the A note so everyone could tune to you, once everyone was tuned you sat back down “First song will be Adagio for violin and orchestra in E minor” The class got out the music and got ready to play “(name) You will be playing the solo part” he said and you nodded and he conducted the class to rise their instruments
He conducted the class to play and soon it was time for your solo, you started to play not really knowing the peace well but it wasn’t the first time you had played it so it wasn’t bad. After you solo you had a break before you played again and you looked over at Mori who was smiling happily at you and it made you blush. Then you had to play again. The conductor went through some bad spots of the song a few times and talked about the order of the music to be played and said he would give you the rest of the music later, but for now to practice this song.
When practice was over you were packing up to leave, you had to get home to get your guitar and change your clothes for the Battle of the Bands practice you had later, but the teacher came up to you with Mori right next to you “(name) you will need a uniform by Monday or I’ll have to restrain you from classes and practice. I don’t want to but it is a rule at this school to have uniforms”
“Yes I will have one I promise I’m getting some money this week end” You said with a smile, Mori gave you a ‘really?’ look but you ignored it
“Alright, you have until Monday I don’t want to kick out my best musician” He laughed and dismissed you
You and Mori walked back to music room 3 but he stopped you before you could open the door “What money are you getting this weekend? The reward money from the Battle of the bands?”
You looked away not wanting to meet his gaze “Yeah” You said kind of ashamed “If I got that money I can get a uniform and a couple spares, pay 3 months of rent and get some other things I need”
“I told you that you could always ask if you needed anything” He said putting his hand under your chin so you looked at him. He smiled down at you and gave you a kiss
“I will, if I am desperate for money I promise I will ask” you said blushing and smiling
“Good” He said and he opened the door to the music room
“(name)-Chan how was practice?” Honey shouted happily at you
“It was fine” You said smiling
“Well guys I gotta go, I have a lot of chores to do at home” Haruhi said about to leave
“Come with us Haru-Chan! Takashi and I are taking (name) home so you can come too!” Honey said and Mori nodded in agreement
“Alright thanks” Haruhi said smiling
You all went out to Mori and Honey’s limo and got in, talking with each other all the way to your and Haruhi’s apartment
“Good luck today (name)!” Haruhi said as she disappeared into her apartment
“Thanks!” You shouted back. You the boys into your apartment “Ok guys sit tight while I get changed and stuff” You said running into your room and closing the door
“Ok (name)!” Honey shouted. Honey and Mori sat at the table talking about what ever.
You shuffled through your dresser “Damn it!” You shouted
“You ok (name?” Honey said sweetly
“Yeah I’m alright” You said “Just should’ve had my outfit out this morning” You heard Mori chuckled “Shush Mori”
And then Honey laughed
You found what you wanted to ware and put it on, you did your hair and got your guitar out from under your bed. You opened your bedroom door to revile your outfit. Mori’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped. You were wearing tight ripped jeans with black fish net stocking under them, a red and black plaid over bust corset that zipped in the front and had black lace on the edges. You had a red cat’s eye necklace and 4 silver studs in each ear, and a hoop nose ring.
“What?” You asked
“Wow (name)!” Honey said “You look so cool!”
“Ha thanks Honey” You said blushing, you saw Mori’s expression and knew that he didn’t need to say anything
Mori stood up “Ready?”
You smiled “Yes”
You were now on your way to the club for the battle of the bands tryouts with Mori and Honey
“What songs are you going to play (name)” Honey innocently asked
Well this is only tryouts so I might play 2 songs, I chose “I’m alive” by Becca and “Put another dime in the jukebox baby” By Joan Jet and the Blackhearts” You said with a smile. Mori gave you a surprised look “I have 2 other songs for the main night too, “the hunger” by the Distillers and “Rose tattoo” By dropkick Murphys”
“punk songs?” Mori asked
“Yep! Punk is my favorite” you said smiling. Then you were at the club “Ok guys give the bouncer these tickets” you handed Honey and Mori the 2 tickets “I have to enter through the back, you’ll see me on stage in a bit” you smiled and kissed Mori
((Time skip, your turn on stage))
Your band got set up and you walked out on stage with your (color) guitar
“Play 2 songs for us” The judges said and you nodded and your band started playing, you played the guitar and sand “I’m Alive” and the “Put anther dime in the jukebox baby” shortly after. The judges stood up and clapped and so did Honey and Mori “Congratulations (name)! You’ve made it! See you Saturday!”
You smiled brightly “Thank you so much!!!” you bowed and ran off stage. You got your things together and thanked the band who played with you and you ran out to Mori and Honey
“Wow (name)! You are so awesome!!” Honey shouted
“Yeah it was amazing, I didn’t l know you could, well rock like that” Mori said still in amazement
“Thanks guys!” You said and you got into the limo
You drove back to your apartment but Honey and Mori couldn’t stay because they had to go to the Dojo, but it was fine because it was getting kinda late for you and you wanted to Skype with your sister and niece
“Good bye Mori” you said and gave him a big hug “thank you”
Mori smiled “Good bye” He kissed you
“Bye (name)!” Honey yelled
“Bye Honey” and they drove away
