It was the day of the concert
You paced back and forth in music room 3 holding Honey’s stuffed bunny Usa-Chan tightly to your chest. As you paced you mumbled to yourself every once in a while words could be understood by the remaining host club members who watched you, afraid to go near you.
“Mumble mumble) fuck this sucks (mumble mumble) wish I had some chocolate (mumble mumble)” And so on
You noticed Mori walk into the room but Honey wasn’t with him like he was when they left the room.
‘Weird’ you thought to yourself
((other side of the room))
“Mori-Senpai! What do we do? She’s been pacing like that for a while now” Tamaki said hiding behind Haruhi
“Let her be” Is all Mori said
“She’s really scary” The twins said in unison
Kyoya adjusted his glasses and jotted something down in this black book before closing it “Is she going to be alright Mori?”
“Yeah, she’ll be fine” Mori sighed, he wanted to go up to you and comfort you so badly but when he called your sister earlier she said to leave you alone, so that’s what he is doing
((back to you))
You kept glancing over at Mori, but he wasn’t coming over to you, you wanted him to just hold you so you could melt into his arms, but he stayed on the other side of the room with the others.
“(mumble mumble) I need to metal music (mumble mumble) something (mumble mumble) chocolate (mumble mumble) those ass holes (mumble mumble)” Then it hit you, there was chocolate!! In the sweets cabinet!!
You stopped pacing. Everyone looked at each other confused and kind of scared. You ran towards the room with the sweets and snacks in it and rummaged through it, and finally you found some!
You walked back out with a piece of chocolate cake, a candy bar, and some chocolate truffles.
The other host club members sighed and Mori raised his eyebrow.
You sat down at the table and set Usa-Chan across from you, and you began to devour the chocolate you stole from the sweets cabinet.
You started to fidget as you ate your sweets. You needed to move you needed to…..
You shot a look over at Mori. A ‘COME OVER HERE NOW’ type of look.
Mori go the hint and walked up to you “Are you alright?” He asked and sat down next to you
“Yeah just a little stressed” you picked a crumb of the plate and ate it
“Everything was fine this morning, what happened?” Mori wrapped his arm tightly around you and brought you closer
“Well…” you started “The beginning orchestra won’t listen to me and they keep screwing up, and my duet partner didn’t even come to school today! How the hell am I supposed to play a two person song by myself!? If he doesn’t show up tonight it’s going to be ruined and I’ll have to play some random solo or find someone who knows the song we are playing together!”
Mori furrowed his brow “It will all work out” he said
“Yeah I hope so, by the way where is Honey?” You looked up at Mori
“He’ll be back no need to worry” He gave you his sweet smile
You smiled and leaned into Mori more.
Then the bell rang and you groaned knowing that you had to deal with the beginning orchestra one last time before the actual concert that was tonight.
“What do you need me to do (name)?” Mori asked as you got up
“not sure if I need sex, sleep, or to punch someone in the face” You replied and Mori let out a chuckle
“Well I would be glad to help you with the one, but you have to get to class” He stood up with you and walked you to class
((time skip))
You stared furiously at the beginning orchestra class you had to conduct, once again they weren’t listening to you.
“I don’t know what you people are thinking, why do you not listen to me? Is it because I’m a commoner? Do you hate the fact that someone who from another country that lives off of a scholar ship is telling you what to do? Huh!? Or are you mad that I’m with Mori!? GET OVER IT!” They continued to stare “If you fuck up the concert it’s on you not me, and you will be the ones embarrassed about it, your families are heads and leaders of big expensive companies and they will see you fuck up and be disappointed, in you, not me! Now! Shut the fuck up, sit the fuck down, and watch my fucking conducting movements!”
Everyone froze, and you didn’t realize that Mori and your teacher both witnessed the outburst until…
“Is that what has been happening here this while time, you weren’t listening to (name) because of her social status?” Your teacher shouted at the class “She is better than every student in all the orchestra classes I have ever had in this school! Now if you screw up this concert I will personally make an announcement that it was not (name)’s fault and name each and every one of you individually to your families and to the whole school”
The entire class was wide eyed and shocked, they all silently sat in their seats and nodded saying that they were going to listen.
You teacher left without another word but Mori stayed and you decided that it would be a good idea to start with the last practice before the concert tonight.
With conductor wand in hand you lifted your arms and the orchestra positioned themselves to play, then you went through the songs for tonight with ease.
“Alright” You stared “I’ll see you in a few hours, don’t fuck this up” With that said you left the room with Mori
“Your duet partner is here” Mori said as he walked with you down the hall
“Well it’s about damn time” You said still a little angry
You walked into the room to practice with your duet partner
“H-Hello (name), s-sorry I worried you earlier” He stuttered
“As long as you’re here now it’s fine” You said but you didn’t notice that he was extremely nervous and scared and he was blushing
You got your violin out and he got his flute out.
Mori sat on the other side of the room with his book.
“Alright if we do fine a few times through I say we can call it a day, but if we mess up we will practice until our hands hurt” You said as you pulled out the music and positioned your violin to play
Your partner nodded his head and got ready to play himself
((Time Skip))
You fixed your dress suit and brushed out your hair, almost time for the first part of the concert. You conducting the beginning orchestra.
“You look great” Mori said walking up to you straightening out his bow tie.
“You don’t look half bad yourself” You gave him a playful smile “By the way where is Honey? Is he coming?”
“Yeah he’ll be here” He looked at his watch “But you have to go and set up, I’ll come back and check on you during intermissions” He gave you a quick kiss
“Alright” You kissed him back “You guys better record this for my dad” You waved and walked away
“We won’t need to record it” Mori said to himself smiling
((Meanwhile))
Honey’s POV
I waited at the air port for (name)’s dad! I stood up on a chair and held up a sign with his name on it! I hope he sees it!
It didn’t take long for me to spot someone who looked like (name), he had the same nose, and (color) eyes and (color) hair as she did. I waved and jumped up and down and he noticed me and walked over quickly
“You must be Mitsukuni” he said in a husky manly tone “I am (Father), (name)’s father”
I jumped down from the chair and gave him a big hug! “It’s nice to meet you sir! (Name)-Chan will be super excited to see you!” He gave me smile and I took him by the hand and ran out of the air port to the limo
((Time skip))
Mori’s POV
“Haruhi?” I said as I walked up to Haruhi
“Oh hey Mori-Senpai” She greeted
“Did you and Mitsukni pick out a ring?” I asked
“Oh yes we circled all the ones we think (name) would like and then circled the best ones twice” She turned to hand me the stack of jewelry magazines a had given them a few days ago
“Thank you” I said as I took them and left
“What did Mori-Senpai want?” Tamaki asked Haruhi
“Oh nothing senpai” Haruhi started “Come we have to get our seats for the concert”
((Time Skip Again))
Your POV
You peeked from behind the curtain to the audience, the place was almost completely filled! You found Mori and the other’s but Honey still wasn’t there
“I hope he’s ok” You said quietly to yourself and turned to get everyone ready
Everyone in the beginning orchestra were now in their seats and you stood off to the side awaiting the curtains to be opened so you could make your entrance
The curtains opened, and you stepped out instantly everyone greeted you with applause
You stepped up to the microphone “Good evening, and welcome to the Ouran Academy’s end of the year concert series, tonight all three levels of the orchestra classes with be presented the productions of five songs each, A duet will be performed and an extra special ending has been added to tonight’s performance, I hope you enjoy your night, my name is (First name, Last name) and I would like to introduce the beginning orchestra class!”
Everyone clapped again as you turned around and took your place on the pedestal in front of the orchestra, out of the corner of your eye you finally saw Honey, with someone? How is that? You couldn’t really tell from your position
With a swift motion you had your wand up and ready to conduct the first set of songs
The first song was: Carmen: Les Toreadors
The second was the: 1812 Overture
The third was: In the Hall of the Mountain King
The fourth was: Minuet in G Miner
And the fifth and last song was: Imperial March
After the last notes were played you constructed the orchestra to put down their instruments, as they did this you turned to give a bow but not before you noticed the man that came in with Honey was familiar….’DAD?’ you thought to yourself
Your thoughts were interrupted by clapping and the curtains closing leaving you behind them
“Nice job” Your teach said quietly to you behind stage
“Thank you” you breathed heavily from nervousness “Part one down” You smiled
He smiled back and hurry go the intermediate orchestra ready, you could take a break from this one
The first song the intermediate orchestra played was: Night on Bald Mountain
The second was: Light Calvary Overture
The third one was: Water Music: Alla Hornpipe
The fourth one was: Magic Flute Overture
And the last was: Adagio for Strings
Applause fallowed after the last song was done
As you hurried up and finished getting ready, you had changed into one of your evening gowns you chose from Hikaru and Kaoru
You and your flute playing partner stepped out onto the stage and nodded to each other saying you were both ready
The curtains opened and you each gave a bow to the audience
He put his flute and you put up your violin and began to play Happy’s Theme (From Fairy Tail)
The cute and lively song made you smile widely as you played
But it was soon over and you gave another bow to the applauding audience
Eyeing the person next to Honey again…..
‘IT IS DAD!’ You couldn’t help but to smile even bigger and you saw Mori’s smile as he realized that you saw your dad
Almost running off stage to get the rest of the concert over with you bumped into your teacher
“oh I’m sorry” you said
“it’s alright” he smiled “you did wonderfully, both of you” he said to you and you duet partner “now get ready you two, advanced orchestra is next and then (name)’s secret solo”
You both nodded and went off to get ready
Now it was the advanced orchestra’s turn. You sat in your seat as the first violin and awaited your teacher
He walked out on stage and everyone clapped, he got up in front of the orchestra and held up his wand and you and everyone got your instruments ready
The first song was: Music to the royal fireworks
The second one was: Scheherazade, with you as the violin solo part
The third song was: He’s A Pirate
The fourth was: The four seasons: Summer
The final song was: Il Trovatore: Anvil Chorus
Once the curtains were closed you ran off stage again to put on yet another evening gown and wait for them to move the grand piano onto the stage for you
“Is the concert over?” Haruhi asked
“Nope, not yet!” Honey said happily
The curtains opened and you stepped out onto the stage alone and sat down at the piano
You bean to play, hitting the keys softly for the beginning of the song then began to sing to it
We Were Lovers (Gankutsuou opening)
“So tonight I’ll sing, a song to all my friends, also to those we won’t be seeing again, to those I knew and those I still adore and I want to see once more I just pray that you will love me and trust me laugh with me and cry with me spend those silent times with me love me ever more, love me ever more. You and I were lovers our dreams were not surrounded by life, and then my friends betray, meant you would be my life (wife)
Harsh words were said and Lies were told instead, I didn’t ever mean to make you cry But love can make us weak and make us strong and before to very long I was totally in love with you I bathed in you, I bathed in you. You finished and then stood up, to your amazement the entire audience stood and clapped and roses were thrown up onto the stage at you as you bowed to them smiling and seeing your friends smiling too and…your dad wiping a tear away? There’s no way that man doesn’t cry
You walked off stage waving the entire time and locked eyes with Mori as you saw him wide eyed and blow you a kiss
Behind the stage you were greeted with hugs and “congratulations” and bouquets of flowers and balloons and cards, so much from everyone really.
You tried to escape so you could get you your dad and everyone before the after party started but everyone was too busy patting you on the back and you didn’t want to be rude
“(name) are you alright you seem anxious” your teacher asked
“Yeah I’m fine I’m just really excited, my dad is here!” you half shouted and everyone stopped and looked at you
Your attention was turned when you heard someone, Mori, clear their throat, next to him was your dad!
You ran and jumped into his arms and he spun you around. You were almost in tears when he set you back down and pulled you into a tight hug
“I am so proud of you (name)” He started and sniffled a little “I love you and missed you so much”
A big “AWE” come from everyone around
You looked up at your dad and then over to Mori who was off to the side smiling at you
“And your boyfriend (name)” Your dad started again “I don’t think you could have chosen anyone any better than him” He pointed at Mori “Come over here boy and get a picture with us”
Mori walked over and your dad handed his camera to someone who offered to take the picture, you were in the middle with your dad and Mori at your sides all three of you were smiling
“Dad this is my teacher Mr. (teacher’s name)” You said pointing to your teacher
You dad shook his hand “It’s nice to meet you”
With that out of the way you were able to get to the after party with the remaining host club members. But before you could enter the room Tamaki pulled you and your dad aside
“Ok guys I’m going to introduce (name) and you two will walk out together” Be beamed happily
You both rolled your eyes but went with it knowing he wouldn’t let you go unless you did it
“Good evening everyone! I do hope you enjoyed the concert tonight! As for our special performer I would like to introduce (Your first/last name) and her father (his first/last name)!” Tamaki stepped aside as you walked arm in arm with your dad down the stairs as everyone one clapped and a few more roses were thrown
((Time Skip))
It was the end of the night and the excitement for the day had gotten to you, you were super exhausted and leaned on Mori and your dad for some support
“Look how tired she is” Hiakaru started
“Yeah we should get her home before she passes all the way out” Kaoru finished
Everyone nodded in agreement
But when Mori stepped up to carry you out to the limo your dad stepped in with his protectiveness
“I’ll take her” he said to Mori
Mori just nodded and stepped aside as your father scooped up your sleeping form
Everyone eyed Mori, but knew he couldn’t fight this one so as your dad fallowed Mori and Honey to the limo with you in his arms saying good bye to everyone
In the limo on the way to Mori’s house it was silence, mostly because you were sleeping, your dad laid you down next to him and it made Mori a little upset but of course he didn’t show it
“So I understand there is a very important question you need to ask me” You dad said quietly breaking the silence
Honey looked up at Mori and Mori looked back down at Honey and smiled
“Yes, very important” Mori answered
